Performed for a medium to large audience. The use of "illusionettes" (Small table-top illusions) is common. Skilled manipulation of props such as: billiard balls, Cards, Doves, Silks, and rope are included in this genre.

Close-Up (Table or Walk Around)

Performed with an audience, "close to the magician." Sometimes even one-on-one. Usually, everyday items are used as props such as, cards, coins, and seemingly "impromtu" effects. It can also combine sleight-of-hand manipulation with flourishes.
